TTOR opening Noon Hill & Shattuck Reservation tomorrow

Email today from the The Trustees of the Reservation –

TTOR

====================================================

We wanted to let you know, The Trustees will be opening Noon Hill and Shattuck Reservation in Medfield at some point tomorrow.  The parking lot will be open for vehicle use.  We will post signs reminding visitors to follow COVID protocols and to safely socially distance when using the trails.  We are hopeful visitors will adhere to the Governor’s guidance to wear masks when not able to social distance and not gather in groups of more than 10 people.

We have also communicated with Chief Guerette regarding the re-opening.

Please let us know if there is anything you will need from us.  We so appreciate our partnership with the Town of Medfield and the terrific work of the Medfield Police Department.

Many thanks and all best.

MSH – see something, say something

This damage was done over the weekend at the Medfield State Hospital, requiring John Thompson, Chair of the MSH Building and Grounds Committee, and a hands on volunteer, and his colleague in the work to board it up anew.

MSH damage-20200517

John reports that vandalism at MSH has increased with the increased usage of the site.

Last night I was chagrined to witness a white Miata doing donuts in the parking lot by the school buses at MSH – there are too many people using the MSH site for anyone to be engaging in such unnecessary attention getting behavior.
