MPR public information session 1/6 re potential new building

From Kevin Ryder –

MONDAY JANUARY 6, 2020 6:30PM @ PFAFF MEDFIELD PARKS & RECREATION DEPARTMENT PUBLIC INFO SESSION FOR NEW PARK & REC CENTER Have your voice heard on what should be part of a potential new Park & Recreation Center in Medfield! Hear from Park & Rec and the consultants about progress and work done to date.

I wanted to update you on the status of our work with the consultants from Abacus in regard to a new Park & Rec facility.

We will be hosting a PUBLIC INFO SESSION on Monday, Jan 6, 2020 at 6:30pm at the Pfaff. The goal of this session is to update the public on the process and solicit information from the public about what they want to see in a new facility.

I have attached a flyer to this email. Could you pass the word along to the Selectmen?

Any questions, please let me know

Styrofoam collection 1/4/2020, 9-1:30PM

20160514_TS-styrofoam collection

From Helen Dewey and Erica Reilly –

Happy Holidays all!  Barb Meyer is organizing another Styrofoam Collection just in time for all of that holiday packaging that will clutter up your house/garage!  No food/beverage foam will be accepted .  Also no peanuts.  Please remove any tape, labels or cardboard and be sure the foam is clean.

We need volunteers to continue with the Styrofoam collections – no volunteers, no collection!  Please consider donating some of your time on Saturday, Jan 4th 9-1:30 weather permitting with Jan 11th as a back-up date.    Helping out with the Styrofoam collection really gives you a sense that you are helping the environment!  If you have resolved to be gentler on the environment in 2020, then start off with a bang and come help!  Click on the Sign Up Genius Link to sign up for whatever time works best for you.

Thanks!  Wishing you and your family a less toxic 2020!
