  1. Hi, Pete, My back-of-the-envelope arithmetic says 8,486 people voted in Medfield. How many registered voters are there in town, and is the population estimate of 12,904 valid? I get the sense some astronomical percentage of the town’s eligible voters turned out for this election. Neal Sanders

    Neal,

    I thought we had 8-9K registered voters and a population between 12-13K. I looked at my town census and see almost 9K residents listed, but about 200 of them at under voting age, so almost 9K.

    It sounds like we had a really high turn out.

      I got curious and just did a search of the resident list. I make it 9,306 registered voters per that current list. I also found two residents that were born the same day as me, which I personally find fascinating, as I have never met anyone born the same day.
