Rolling Rally on 5/31 for MHS Grads


CLASS OF 2020 SENIOR CELEBRATION DAY Rolling Rally to honor Medfield H.S. Class of 2020! Please help honor the Medfield H.S. Seniors on what would have been their originally scheduled graduation day, May 31st. We are bringing the Medfield community together in a safe way to celebrate the Class of 2020. A Rolling Rally of cars will pass through town (see route on page 2) on Sunday, May 31st beginning at 1PM. Please pardon any road closures that may impact your travel during this time. If you would like to watch the Rally roll by, please park at a location near the route and view from your car. The safety of our community is a priority for this event and social distancing guidelines should be adhered to by all. To honor members of the Class of 2020 who may live in your neighborhood, we welcome you to decorate your house with Warrior pride. Community Event May 31st at 1PM CLASS OF 2020 SENIOR CELEBRATION DAY Rolling Rally Route • Right out of McCarthy Field • Proceed on Hospital Hill Road • Right on West Mill Street • Left on Adams Street • Left on Dale Street • Right on North Street • Left on Route 109 • Right on South Street • Left on Elm Street • Right into loop to the left of Wheelock • Left back onto Elm Street from loop • Right back onto South Street • Right onto Pound Street • Enter Blake Driveway • Right at Stop Sign toward HS Auditorium • Left at stop sign near tennis courts and gym entrance • Right into visitor parking lot at end of driveway • Proceed straight thru parking lot to end • Exit parking left to South Street Neighbors We Need YOU! We are bringing the community together in a safe way to celebrate the Senior Class of 2020 and WE NEED YOU to make this event extra special! A rolling rally of cars will pass your home the afternoon of Sunday, May 31st between 1 -1:30pm. We are asking you to please consider being our best cheerleaders for the MHS Senior Class of 2020. Safety of our community is a priority for this event and social distancing guidelines should be adhered to by all. Decorate your home Makes some signs, banners, hang a sheet from your window. We need signs of inspiration, congratulations, good luck - any positive message. Tie these balloons (with short string so they’ll prop up!) to your mail box. Make noise Have your children bang some pans together, use noise makers, honk your horns, cheer with your loudest voice, pipe music. Be spectators Step outside your house, hang out your window, sit in your car, stand in your driveway, wave to our MHS Seniors as they pass. What else? Blow bubbles or use your bubble machine, write chalk messages, use your megaphone, blow up some balloons...anything that helps make this rolling rally event festive is welcome!     Do you realize the end of the parade cuts through the middle of the parade. I see serious traffic issues here.

    It looks like the end of the parade cuts through the middle of the parade. This can cause serious traffic issues.why not head back out to 109 as the end instead of in the school lot?
    ( exiting the school lot back into South street cuts through the middle of the parade)
