
On Tuesday this week Pulte presented its high density development ideas to Dover for 17 acres of land between Dover-Sherborn High School and the Town of Medfield – basically in the back yards of those living along Evergreen Way.
Town Administrator, Kristine Trierweiler shared with me that Pulte is asking to buy water and sewer use from the Town of Medfield, but Pulte apparently has alternative backup plans for both as well.

I sincerely hope we are not entertaining any thoughts I selling water and sewer rights to any other Town – particularly for a high density development. Based on the last vote to allow Aura a 7.5% rent increase to 40B residents- because the developer has made Al units equal – and we want good developers” – I fear the Board May be ore interested in developers than the residents. Our teachers were not awarded such an increase – nor were other town employees- but Aura was deemed worthy – shameful!

7.5% is a great deal with the way inflation is. 40B still requires an i come of nearly 100K. I’m not sure know what you are talking about.

Is there a way to prevent the traffic from all those units from accessing the lightly traveled Evergreen Way, Harding estates area?
Harding estates is essentially a cul-de-sac with many children. Increasing traffic flow is not a good idea.
Medfield already has numerous restrictions limiting water use. As a good neighbor, Medfield supply’s the Dover high school with water. Why should Medfield supply additional water to increase the number of residents in Dover?

With the upcoming building at the state hospital I am against this project. Pulte wants our resources of water and sewer. They said they have a backup plan so let them use it.

7.5 % for 40B is a discount. Everything has gone up at least 7.5%. They should be grateful.

This is right on the border of Medfield. It’s going to back right up to the development at the state hospital. Medfield residents should get to vote on this as well. We don’t have the infrastructure for all these new developments never mind using Medfield water. Medfield has lost its way. It’s a mess filled with all these new developments and the town has lost its appeal. Once school starts the traffic is going to be out of control. We have no public transportation in this area.
The developers-making millions if not billions and the people of our towns are allowing this. Of course there should be affordable housing in every city and town but most of developments in towns like Medfield are not affordable. There is only a small percentage of 40B mixed in with other very expensive housing and the developers can get away with calling it 40B. What a sham.
