The water holding part of the new water tower at the former Medfield State Hospital site was hoisted into place today.

  1. I would have liked to see art on the upper part of the tower. What a viewing screen it could have been, drawing the local and wider community to Medfield’s culture, history, appeal.

    what a great idea – just like was done on the Medfield traffic control boxes on a smaller scale, or on the LNG tank in Dorchester. The fabricator told Deb that they could have made the tank itself in any shape, so the water tank itself could have been a sculpture – what shape would Medfield have wanted?
