From Susan Maritan, for Rich Purnell –
Dear Medfield Community,
I am delighted to extend a warm and heartfelt invitation to our community, inviting everyone to celebrate a significant milestone with us at New Life Furniture Bank of MA. We are commemorating our first decade of service, and we invite you to be a part of this extraordinary evening on Wednesday, October 25th at the Four Points by Sheraton in Norwood.
This celebration is not only to honor our past but also to look forward to our bright future. We are especially thrilled to pay tribute to one of our organization’s founding pillars, Ron Yates. Ron’s unwavering dedication and tireless efforts over the past 10 years have been instrumental in driving New Life’s growth, enabling us to provide furniture and household items to people transitioning out of a homeless situation.
Our 10-year anniversary event promises to be a night filled with great food, delightful company, and entertaining games, ensuring a memorable experience for all who attend. It is an opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate the profound impact we’ve had on over 11,000 lives, including veterans, survivors of domestic abuse, refugees, individuals facing health challenges or job loss, and, of course, the children who rely on them.
Your presence at this celebration is not just a sign of support; it’s a commitment to the cause. Together, we have turned empty spaces into homes, bringing dignity, hope, and comfort to those we serve. Your participation will contribute to the ongoing success of New Life Furniture Bank and our mission to create a brighter future for our community.
To reserve your tickets, please go to our website: newlifefb.org. We ask that you encourage others to join us in celebrating this incredible journey that has touched the lives of so many in Massachusetts.
We look forward to your presence on this special evening as we pay tribute to our past, celebrate the present, and envision a brighter future for all.
Sincerely,
Rich Purnell
Executive Director, New Life Furniture Bank of MA

I started this blog to share the interesting and useful information that I saw while doing my job as a Medfield select board member. I thought that my fellow Medfield residents would also find that information interesting and useful as well. This blog is my effort to assist in creating a system to push the information out from the Town House to residents. Let me know if you have any thoughts on how it can be done better.
