The spectacular fringe tree that sits atop the front Great Lawn at the former Medfield State Hospital site was blooming last weekend when I went by, but this year it is not as full of blooms and as robust looking as it has been in the past.

I started this blog to share the interesting and useful information that I saw while doing my job as a Medfield select board member. I thought that my fellow Medfield residents would also find that information interesting and useful as well. Looks like it would benefit from pruning, at least the dead branches. Can a volunteer do that?

Volunteers should not take things into their own hands. Any work should only be done by or through the town. Talk with Moe Goulet, the DPW Director, to see if he wants anything done – I am guessing not.
