Medfield.TV dedicated its Edward P. Doherty Memorial Garden at the end of Baker’s Pond this afternoon. In this photo is the granite bench in Ed’s honor, the garden, and the Medfield.TV brain trust. A sundial is still to come.
The Dohertys moved to Medfield on the late 1980s and Ed became involved in many community things. I met him when he co-chaired the 30th celebration committee.
Ed had his own show on Medfield.TV.

I started this blog to share the interesting and useful information that I saw while doing my job as a Medfield select board member. I thought that my fellow Medfield residents would also find that information interesting and useful as well. Pete- Ed and family actually moved to Medfield in 1968, not the late 80’s, and Ed became involved in community activities almost immediately. He passed away in 2013, representing 45 years of service to the town. Charlie
