We want to take a moment of appreciation for our Troops serving around the globe in defense of
our country
Appointments
1. Deputy Police Chief, Barry McGrath to request the following:
a. Request the Select Board approve the grant for Bullet Proof Vests
b. Request to appoint Special Officer Robert Hain to the position of full-time officer
effective April 21, 2024
c. Request to appoint Student Officers Ingrid Sena, Timothy Reilly, Peter Braswell
to full-time officers conditioned upon successful completion of the MPTC
academy effective May 3, 2024.
d. Request to appoint student Officer David Hayes to attend the next MPTC
academy in May 2024 conditional on his meeting the requirements set forth by
the MPTC pre-entrance standards.
2. Trinity Financial to provide update to the Select Board and to request the Select Board to
sign a letter of support for the MSH project for the next round of State Historic Tax
Credits
3. 7:00 PM School Building Committee to provide update to the Select Board
4. Maurice Goulet, Director of Public Works to request the following:
a. Vote to approve the Wastewater Treatment Plan Assessment Contract with
Woodard & Curran Inc for $270,000 funded by ARPA for professional
engineering services to assess the building and operations of the facility and
recommend upgrades and improvements for future operations and compliance
b. Vote to approve the Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Contract with Woodard & Curran
Inc for $220,000 funded by ARPA for professional engineering services to
investigate and evaluate areas of the town in which inflow and infiltration has
been identified in the sewer collection system
c. Vote to approve the Verizon Consent Form to allow for the addition of 3 antennas
to the Medfield State Hospital Water Storage Tank (VZW only has a total of 6
now and was originally granted 12)
d. Vote to approve the recommended complete street projects so the town can move
ahead and apply for funding with BETA Group engineers submitting the
application on behalf of the town
5. Rick Fink to present a plan and timeline for a sign to be placed in the downtown park
with the gazebo

11. Sign request from Boston Elite Basketball to promote their basketball camps at Blake
Middle School from April 22 through May 6 at North/Main
